Here’s what people are saying:

Perfect for GRANDPARENTS to share with grand-kids!

Have you ever picked up a penny on the street? Then go on the journey with the luckiest penny.

This book is a treasure to share with your grandchild of any age. The story of two pennies is intertwined with the relationship between a grandfather and his grandson. It shows children what unconditional love truly is and the value of every single person, no matter how small, no matter what! It opens up discussions on the things we value today, the persons we value today. The illustrations are bright, yet sweet and engaging. You'll want to smooth your hand over each page as you read it to a small child.

This gift makes a perfect gift to show anyone just how much they are worth--to you, to the world, to life. It also opens up discussions on money, so timely in today's economy. It's a teaching tool for children to learn about what we value in life, and why.

I won't reveal the ending, but it's just perfect.

Deborah Weed has written a timeless fable that reminds us and our children what really matters. This lovely story is about love and values, and it will enrich and inspire you at this time of great challenge and change, when so many families are having to reevaluate what is important. Do yourself a favor and loose yourself in the aristry of the drawings and the magic of the words. You will love it. I did!

The Luckiest Penny is far more than standard kid's book. Intended for both kids and adults reading together, it will foster super conversations on the relationship of money and self-worth, without being overbearingly didactic, instructional, or just plain bossing around or ordering a kid how to feel. It will be specially appealing for men who find themselves tongue-tied when talking to a pint-sized creature whose world-view might as well be from a different planet. Highly recommended

This is a children's book but it also is an inspirational book to people of all ages. I have already bought two books - one for myself and one for my grandchildren. Especially during this time of economic pressure and disillusionment, this beautifully illustrated book with it's inspirational message gives us all something we desperately need .... a fresh look at values.... and hope!
